When will the Spring 2026 exams start

According to the official academic calendar, AIOU conducts exams twice a year to keep the academic activities smooth.  After completing the assignments and detailed study information, students are able to directly enter the final exams.

For Spring 2026, the university has scheduled the final exams to start in the first week of September.  The exact start date published by Allama Iqbal Open University is applicable to all programs from matriculation to PhD level. 

AIOU Roll No Slip Spring 2026

The Most Awaited Document every student of knows that it is not possible to enter the examination hall without a roll number slip.

Allama Iqbal Open University has now confirmed that all roll number slips will be issued online only through the official CMS portal. Students will not receive this semester’s slips by post, they will only be able to download them from their AIOU portal,

The university has advised students to start checking the portal in mid-August. This is when the slips are expected to go live, which gives students ample time to download, print and verify their details before the exams. All students are informed by the university to keep checking their CMS portal from time to time.

Download Roll No Slip Spring 2026

The method given to download the slip is very easy and takes less than 2 minutes

• In the first step, go to the CMS portal.
• In the second step, open the roll number slip section.  
• In the third step, enter your CNIC and select your program.
• In the last step, download your slip

Note, this is the easiest way to download without CNIC by logging into your CMS portal. Log in to the portal, go to the exam schedule, your slip will appear, download it from there,

All students should be aware that you should take both your printed slip and the original CNIC to the examination center, otherwise you may face problems without them.

What should students do now

• Focus on preparation. As the exams are approaching, complete your assignments and revise the course material, so that success in the exam is possible.
• Keep checking the portal regularly, from mid-August, check your slip and date sheet.
• Verify the details. After downloading, check your name, course codes, and examination center. There may be a mistake, report any mistake immediately to your regional campus, and get your mistake corrected so that you do not face any problems in the exam.
